Tractor Trailer Pre-Screening Dates

 

Individuals interested in taking our 12 week Tractor Trailer Internship program must attend a pre-screening session before their registration can be complete.

The pre-screening session consists mainly of three parts:

  • Psychophysical Testing – This consists of a basic eye test, peripheral vision, depth perception, and reaction time.
  • Interview – We want to get to know our future students. It is important that we know what the goals of our students are. This is also a great opportunity to ask us any questions you may have about the program.
  • TOWES testing -  The TOWES test is Test of Workplace Essential Skills. This test is administered by the Trucking Human Resource Sector Council and evaluates numeracy, reading text and document use. Students are required to write the TOWES test prior to acceptance into the Tractor Trailer Internship Program. There is a $115.00 fee to write the TOWES test.

All pre-screening sessions are held at our campus in Masstown, Nova Scotia. We ask that participants arrive by 9:00 am.
